For Those Who Thought I Furgot To Blog

It’s my moms fault!

I completely have been neglected…and WHY??

PINTREST…evil, no good Pintrest!!  It has been the reason for my neglect.  My mom has gotten all kinds of crochet projects up her crawl that she wanted to make. 

My mom is a little on the crazy side, because instead of just making one thing, she has started several projects at once.  She has a ADD when it comes to crocheting…

She has been making  key chains, blankets, rugs, scarfs…

The only thing she has actually finished is about 2 dozen key chains…

The rest of the things are half finished and scattered everywhere! 

  

The only reason I am still putting up with this madness is because when she went to buy more yarn on Saturday is she brought me back this cool shirt! Thank goodness she is still thinking of me just a little bit!  If not, I could be nekkid!

So please don’t forget me.  I am hoping that this Pintrest craze will soon pass.  She gets bored easily and my paws are crossed that Pintrest will become boring to her…or maybe the whole website will crash so I can get my mom back!

I was so worn out by all the back to school activities yesterday, that I was too tired to pull my feet under the covers!!  BOL!!

Lesson #1

If you have pesky deer, like this…

There are two ways to scare them off…

 

 

 

You can sit on the porch and bark yourself silly!  Of course, you have to have a very mantastic bark, like myself,  so they will know you are serious! 

 

 

  

 

OR…

Start barking at them first thing in the morning before you exit the bed, waking your dad in the process!!   Kind of a win-win if you ask me!  BOL!

Lesson #2

For this lesson I will let Maggie, my sister, demonstrate the proper way to Pawtect Your Stuffies.  She has it down to an art…BTW, don’t let her little bow fool you, this one is all fur and teeth!

Sit on top of the toy basket and when anydog gets near…chase them off!!  Trust me, it works almost every time!

Lesson #3

This is a very impawtent lesson to learn.  Around my parts there are two dogs in our family…me and Maggie.  Mom forces us to share the same food bowl, which in my opinion should be considered abuse.  Anyhoos…

Maggie has been known to guard her food bowl in the same manner that she pawtects the stuffies.  Me, however, likes a more sneaky approach…

I will nudge the food bowl away from the wall and  stand guard from behind the bowl.  I find it more effective to be able to see Maggie coming so I can chase her away!!

Lesson #4

 

Here is a way fur all you sleepy heads to Pawtect & Serve.

When undergoing “under the covers” security, when anyone (or dog)  comes near or in this case, on top of you… The element of surprise works every time!!

It’s hard to tell from the video, but Maggie stepped on me while I was doing “under the covers” security!!  She stopped and decided to go the other way…works every time!!  BOL!

9/11 And Back To School

SEPTEMBER 11

First, I would like to thank all those who have and still are serving our country.   There have been many who have bravely fought for our freedom, including both two legged and four legged heroes.  Thank you for our freedom and your service!

September 11 is a sad day for our country and many people lost their lives on that tragic day.  Today, I would like to take the time to remember the ones we lost.

Snoopervising, It’s A Hard Job!

My mom got the grand idea to rip the carpet off the stair way that leads up to her craft room.  It turned out to be a much bigger job than she imagined.  So she roped the middle son into helping!

My job, snoopervising!  Trust me it’s a hard job!

Here I am, in between the two, making sure they get the staples out just right!

Today is my cousin Birthday! 

Y’all know the cousin…that lives in Florida…you might remember her…she sometimes blogs on here? 

It’s been a long time since she has blogged, and I kind of miss her!  I have been trying to get her mom to start her a blog, I have begged and whined for a long time, but her mom is mean and wont!

I add so much to my mom’s life, that she is busting at the seems!  BOL!!

Ahem, now that I have a tiny moment, I will keep it brief!  How in the world could a little rescue dog bring so much joy into my life??  I think it is because I rescued him and he rescued  me.  Higgins came to me when life threw a few lemons into our path and he jumped right into my heart and turned those lemons into sweet yummy lemonade!!! 

Was that brief enough Higgins??
