Nursing Home Visit

My dad’s Aunt Helen turned 92 on January 1st.  My dad was thrilled to be able to get to see her.  Then the day we left Florida my dad wanted to stop by for one more visit with her.  Since we were in the Jeep all packed up and ready to leave, we got to visit as well!!

The place the she is staying allows for pet visits and let me tell you…I loved it!!

Poor Aunt Helen was not feeling well and was having a nose bleed so we didn’t want me and Maggie to overwhelm her.  I can say, that her eyes lit up when she saw us!

We all got a big big laugh….cause when me and Maggie heard the camera clicking, we both look to the camera to smile!  Can you tell our mom takes lots of pictures of us?

Maybe next time we can visit again!

  1. How nice you got to visit her! Maybe you two could become therapy dogs

  2. Oh Higgins what a wonderful thing. I bet you made her day!! You made mine by seeing and hearing all about it. Good job buddy. We are all smiles over here.

  3. Oh, that's so sweet to visit your Aunt Helen. Hope she is feeling a lot better now, we are sure you cheered her up lots!

  6. OH that is WONDERFUL... the folks in hospital LOVE to have visits.. and this was a SPECIAL one fur SURE.

  7. Oh, I know Aunt Helen loved your visit. When I'm in a nursing home I hope I get tons of visits from animal friends. I can't think of much better.

  8. Ah Higgins, I bet she just loved your visit. You need to come and go with me to the hospital to visit. sometimes I am just too big to sleep with some of the patients. You could take those beds. We would make a good team.

  9. I bet you guys were the highlight of her day!
