OMD, Another Dog!!!!!

While my mother was off to parts unknown last week, her absence allowed for the adopted son to sneak in a dog!  When mom is away, the children do play…I warned her!

 

Meet Zoe, my arch nemesis!

Can we just say that I don’t like her very much….actually that is a huge understatement!  I loathe her!

She comes into MY yard and acts like the alpha dog when clearly we already have an alpha dog….ME!  It is causing much yard drama around our house!

Take this morning…I was relaxing on the front porch with the parents, enjoying some quite time when she has the nerve to stick her head into my sight!  THE NERVE!

Mischief Monday

Does this look like a face that gets into much mischief??

With mom being gone there is not much trouble that I have been caught in the act of performing….win win for me, a big negative for the blog.  But this fella….

His name is Fred, we call him Drop Dead Fred.  He a one mean cat…a devil cat!  He belongs to the oldest college bound kid that moved out, took his cat with him and then Fred moved himself back in. 

OMD, this cat is hideous! 

Not only did Fred move back home, but he moved himself to my front porch….grrrrrr….

It’s been causing lots of front porch drama and I am sure it will start being the highlight of some of the upcoming Monday Mischief's since the front porch is the favorite family hangout in the Spring and Summer!!

A Note From My Mom

Mom’s can be so embarrassing at times, but she is just insisting that I let her post!  So here is my mom….

Thanks Higgins!  Just wanted to let you know that I am so happy to be home!  I had one of the best trips with 40 teenage kids, EVER!!  The only thing that would have made it better is Higgins was there!!

I have just begun to read through all the comment love that you left on Higgins blog today and I have to say y’all are awesome!  I have missed visiting your blogs and look forward to getting back into the swing of things!!

Thanks for the friendship…pet bloggers are the bombdiggity!  HA!

Today Is A Very Special Day

(FYI, this is day 6 of being without Mom!)

Today is my Birthday!! 

I am FOUR years old!  WOOT!!!

I just assumed that mom would make it home today for my special day…she didn’t….grrrr! 

She did call and wish me a Happy Birthday and told me she would be home tomorrow night!  I can’t wait!!!  She said that we would celebrate then!

Until I can post proper Birthday pictures, here is me when she brought me home on my gotcha day!

Day 5 without mom!

Okay, I will have to say dad is starting to warm up on me!  I got to hang out of the window of the car!  WOOOHOOOO!!  Mom never lets me do this!

There is even video to prove that that car was speeding down the road!!! 

When mom sees this she will have a heart attack!!!!! It might hurry her home quicker!  BOL!!

I was trying to be all helpful and go through stuff for her, but she was not feeling the love.

Kept calling brother in to get me away from her stuff.  Geeze she doesn't know good help when she see's it.

Monday Mischief

Day Three of being left in Dad’s care….woe is me!

Dad walks into the kitchen Saturday night and look what he finds….

Dad hates it when I get on the table and he told me to get down…..

Awww Dad, looks….adopted son is eating supper and he wont share!  With mom being out of town, I have no choice but to sit here on the table and give him the mantastic stink eye until he gives me a bite…you know I am starving!!

I’m The Proud Owner Of A FurCode

FYI, this is day #1 of being abandoned by my mom….just wanting to keep track!

ANYHOOS…..

Do you see it??  It’s my new FurCode!!  I won one last month, well actually I won two FurCodes….one for me and one for my brother Bandit! 

Thanks Bailey and Sugar for giving away these awesome tags!  I feel like a rock star with my new tag! 

 

My mom was trying to get a good picture of my FurCode tag, but I was being very disagreeable because I was mad.  Mom had the nerve to shoo me away from the suitcases that she was busy packing. 

I thought I was being helpful when I dropped my rawhide into an open suitcase!  She may not be able to take me, but I was certain when she saw my bone in her suitcase she would have rushed right home to bring it too me!

Oh well, at least I now have a FurCode Tag for when dad loses me….

Mom says I am being very over dramatic and that dad never managed to lose three human sons and that I would be well taken care of.  Time will tell!

Can We Say Devastated?

My mom brought out suitcases…..woohoo, right?!

Wrong.

I was informed that I was not going.

I AM DEVASTATED!

Mom and the youngest son is leaving Friday night and driving to Arlington Texas for something she is calling a mission trip.    She told me dogs were not allowed to go.

I don’t get it….what is wrong with Arlington Texas….do they not like mantastic dogs like myself??  I could rock their world if they would let me come along!

Then I was informed that she would be gone for one week!! 

ONE WEEK????

She is leaving me with dad for a ONE WHOLE WEEK…..

I am sure I will die.

I have since been giving my mom the stink eye in hopes that it will make her weak and she will take me….do you think it will work?

Monday Mischief

I got a bath!!  Now I am on the porch sunbathing….

 

NAKED!!!  WOOHOOO!!

Now that is some serious mischief!  BOL!

I’m Exhausted!

It has been a long week taking care of mom!  I am happy to report that she is feeling much better!  Yay!

Where does that leave me?  EXHAUSTED!  It was hard work staying by her side, day in and day out, protecting her from germs!

When I was not by her side, I was by the window protecting her from the deer!  Those pesky critters are relentless!

Paws crossed that mom stay well because 24/7 guard duty is a tough job!

OMD…Cats That Scan?

Sorry fur my lack of visits yesterday and today and  this very tardy posting, but mom has been sick!  I am not really sure what is going on but yesterday morning around 9am my mom was struck with this horrible pain.

Y’all it must have been serious because dad came home and my mom would have never allowed him to leave work for no good reason.  Anyhoo, dad took her to the doctor and hours later they retuned home, whew!  I was getting really nervous!

There is talk about a kidney stone and some other things that the cat scan found…..WHAT?  A Cat Scan?  I was not able to go, but they allowed a cat to scan my mother?!  I am appalled….what kind of vet did dad take my mom too??  No offence to my cat furiends, but a cat scanning my mom has me a bit on the worried side!

Now that mom is home, I have taken over her care with lots of  kisses and plenty of naps!  Paws crossed that these medications that they gave my mom will start working soon so we can get back to normal life!

Monday Mischief

This week it’s not the dog that has gotten into mischief…its the youngest son!!

Looks what he did to my squeaking toy….he squashed it’s tail under the chair so I could not get it!  How rude!

I tell ya…what’s a Chihuahua to do with all this human mischief going on….I guess I will need to step up my game this week!  BOL!!

Adventure Hike For One

Okay, I will admit it….I read on others blogs Like Gospel of Goose and Four Legged Views, to name a couple about their great adventures!  I see them jump over big fences and carry huge sticks the size of trees and maybe I get a little jealous!  Just a tad!  My mom never lets me venture to far away from her to do big and scary things!  I may be a tad on the little side, but my adventure side is HUGE, not to mention that I am very mantastic!!

So I decided to do something about it….by myself!!  The other day my mom let me out.  Usually I stay close by the house and I never venture far off by myself, but not this time!  When I didn’t come back from being outside she got worried and came looking for me!  You will have to look close to see me…TeeHee!!

I did it!!!  A huge Goose and Bert sized adventure!!  I even jumped over a fallen tree!!  WOOOHOOOO!!  SO MUCH FUN!!
