Nicknames

Oh how much fun is this…a contest about nicknames!!  I found Sarge’s blog and could not resist to join in…PLUS there are prizes!  I want to win!  BOL!! 

Here are some of the names that I get called:

• Mr. Mantastic which of course I love being called mantastic, because it’s SO true!!
• Higgy, my girlfriend calls me this and it makes me blush!
• Higgie Piggie, my brothers call me this because they are jealous because I am mantastic and they are not.
• The Higster, kinda of cute actually.
• Higmiser, who knows why they call me this??  Good grief!

There are all my nicknames and to be honest I will come to anything they call me as long as it is time to eat!!!

Monday Mischief

I have been an angel this weekend!!  I spent all day long Saturday following mom from room to room as she cleaned.  Yesterday it was Mothers Day and Movie Day wrapped up in one, so I slept in moms lap all day!  What better way to show mom love, right?

Mom did agree that I was angelic this weekend, but she said my shedding and lack of cleaning my up toys made up for the usual mischief  I partake in.

 

Please note, I see some dust in that the hair…so not all my mess!!

As for the toys…I am sure that someone else could be playing with them as well….right?

Great Humming Bird Rescue Of 2012

 

My mom had the front door open yesterday so I could go outside and sun when I wanted to, because the weather was beautiful!!  She also has two humming bird feeder on the front porch that get visited by LOTS of humming birds everyday.  I will sit out there and watch them fight over their food.  They can get nasty when it come to eating!  BOL!

When I came in there was this loud noise in the window…of course I went on high alert and notified my mom that something was going on!  After closer examination, I discovered that it was a humming bird!

My mom is so brave and went and grabbed a dishtowel to catch it. 

Mom wanted me to mention that yes, her dishtowel is holey and falling apart and her nails look horrible, but to please not judge!  BOL!  Moms worry about the silliest things!

The little fella is so tiny and cute!  He stayed in moms hands for a moment and then he few off!  Mom said that he was so scared he didn’t know what to do.

I watched for a few minutes hoping we would come back, but he didn’t.

I guess mom needs to add another title to her name, humming bird rescuer!

Handsomely Mantastic

After a  game of fetch with Black Bear and mom last night I retreated to my man cave.

Mom thought I looked so Mantasticly Handsome that she broke out the camera for a little photo op!   How could I resist?   I guess it comes with the territory of  being famous!  BOL!!

Mom Screams Like A Girl!

Mom walked into the kitchen and there was this thing on the window!

Of course, she grabs her camera after screaming like a girl and putting me on high alert!

 

Did you see what she was screaming about??

She said it was the biggest lizard that she has ever seen around the house.  She has seen big ones like this in the Dominican Republic, but never in the hills of  Tennessee!
