Mom walked into the kitchen and there was this thing on the window!
Of course, she grabs her camera after screaming like a girl and putting me on high alert!
Did you see what she was screaming about??
She said it was the biggest lizard that she has ever seen around the house. She has seen big ones like this in the Dominican Republic, but never in the hills of Tennessee!
Wow! I don't blame your Momma for screaming like a girl! Wait....she is a girl! heehee!
ReplyDeleteMy Mom would scream too! We only have little ones here in Florida!

Hi Remington here....thanks for stopping by my blog, nice to meet you. I don't think I have ever seen one of those and I don't think I want to either.... BTW -- I am going to follow you....no, not around your kitchen, just in Blogland! I hope we can be great friends!
ReplyDeletelizards are fun to chase. i used to just sit and watch them but aoife says they do not belong in our yard and we should chase them away. so now that's what i do and i even caught one once! i just stepped right on it. mom made me let it go though.

That's beautiful Higgins! The Typist loves lizards and iguanas. Do you know what type of Iizard it is?
ReplyDeleteHi Higgins, I didn't know if this was the blog for BOTH YOU and Patrice or not. I tired to Join butt when I click the google button... nothing happens.
ReplyDeleteIt is very good to meet the two of you.
Ahhhhhhh I fiddled around with it and FINALLY I was able to Follow.
ReplyDeleteMy mom would scream AND run!
ReplyDeleteYour friend,
Murphy
Poor mama!!!! But still.....LOL! We think our mama would have probably picked it up to make sure no one was trying to pull a fast one on her!!! Then she would have screamed! LOL :)
ReplyDeleteAnd we shall name him "Screams-a-lot" And you shall keep him and raise him as a family member, he shall sleep next to thee Higgins, He shall keep all the ugly bugs that hide in your house at bay and "Whoops, Hes a girl!" and she will have babies. and oh what the heck.
ReplyDeleteTrap her and sell her to a pet store.
That is a cool lizard. I have not had much experience with the critters my self. Once when MOM took some youth on a rafting trip in Moab Utah they found these cool lizards that when you help them in your hand and stroked their bellies they would fall asleep. Maybe your MOM can try that with your lizard.

Ewww..that guy looks kinda skeery!! Did he run away?

That almost looks like a bearded dragon! How strange.
ReplyDeleteAnd to think I was hoping to play an I spy game. Nice picture, mom. At least we could understand the reason why you screamed. Higgins made it sound so sarcastic. LOL.
