Wordy Wednesday & Winner Winner Chicken Dinner!!

Y’all had to think that I ran away from home….can you believe the last time I blogged was Friday? OMD, It’s not my fault, It’s my moms fault!!

Our weekend was quite the flurry of boring activities with mom and  dad working on the upstairs with painting and peeling wallpaper.    The only room that got completely done was the youngest sons room.

Here is the color that it began as….a very deep brown.

Here is me giving mom the best stink eye ever cause this was not what I was wanting to do.  I was still mad cause I was wanting to go hiking.  Grrrr.

Don’t worry to much, me, Bandit and Maggie stayed in moms way the entire time…Maggie even got kicked out of the room because she kept brushing up against the wall and getting paint all over her furs!!  BOL!!!

Here is the finished color…It’s a light grey that my mom is in love with!

Once the furniture got moved back into the room, we all were worn out from working so hard, so the three of us took naps while mom hung stuff on the walls.

Here are some of the finishing photos of his walls.  The youngest son collect car tags and car things so my mom was hanging them on the wall.  There are a few things left to hang, but for the most part it is done.  Whew!!  I won’t even begin to show you the other two rooms….they are still a nightmare!!  BOL!  At this rate, I may never get to go hiking again!

Okay now for the fun stuff!!!!

    Even though you didn't get to go hiking, I think it was worth it buddy, cos that room looks great and those car tags are cool!!

    I do believe that Maggie was just helping paint. I hope you get to go hiking soon. You can always join me on a hike. I'm going today and there is room for you too buddy. We might even see some moose.

    You did a fantastic job with the brother's room Higgins, they couldn't have managed without you sprawled over the floor snoopervising. We love the car tags, it is a real boys room.

    The room looks great! We really like the car tags :) We didn't have a fun weekend either! Our mom and dad left us while they went and moved our human sis into her new apartment :( Good for her but bad for us. Oh well, now they have to make it up to us!

    Higgins, I hate to say this, but it may have been worth not going hiking - that colour is very swish. And can I just say, your stink eye is AMAZING. You look very scary when you are doing the stink eye!!! Can you teach me? I try but I just can't really pull it off - well, not to the extent that I end up getting my own way!

    The place is looking fabulous!! Too bad you couldn't go hiking, maybe this weekend will be better! Either way the quicker the cleaning and painting gets done then it will be time for lots of hiking. :)
