Sorry y'all fur my lack of posting since Christmas, but mom and dad loaded me and Niles up in da new car fur a spur of da moment trip to Florida!!!!  

BUTTS guess what????  Today is New Year Eve and dat means dat I have a date tonight with da Beautiful Sammie Jean!!!

It's our furst date and in honor of dat, I have rented a sports car....

So y'all need to excuse me while I drive around beautiful sunny Florida with da top down!

Pressies From Jakey & Bilbo

OMD, we's is getting packages in da mail right and left from the mail lady!!  I is pretty sure she has thrown out her back from all the cards and pressies dat she is having to put into our mailbox!!!

We was so excited to get our Christmas Gift Exchange gifts from Jokey and Bilbo!!!  Thems live in Cali-fur-nia.....not sure where that is but I am pretty sure that its 87,000 miles away from Tennessee!!

Dad Had A Barkday

Yesterday was dads Barkday and he turned 87,000 years old!!!

Fur his birthday supper he wanted steak and all the fixin's and I didn't complain at all.....

No Creature Was Stirring Except Fur Bojangles

Remember me saying mom gots a new car??  A car dat she has YET to allow da Mantastic Higgins to ride in.....which is R-U-D-E!

Well, dat new car got deaded on the road....totally deaded!  That's what she get fur not letting me ride in it.....BOL!

Da car fixer humans made her leave it at their house so they could look at it da next day and guess what they found???

They asked mom where she parked her car.....then they asked her if she had dogs.....then they told her she had a mouse, a mouse in her car!!!!!!

Dat mouse has been stealing da outdoor dog food and putting it into moms new car, and a lot of dog food too!!!  

Da car fixer human sent mom this picture....

Dat is just one place da mouse (mom named him Bojangles) was putting his food.....

They found another place Bojangles was putting food and some of the food got into other places in her fancy car too!  Dats is why it got deaded on da road cause it was clogged!!!

Mom was not happy at all with Bojangles.....

Fur someone that was not happy with her new pet she sure did rush out and get it a snack....

Mom said she hopes dat Bojangles moves out of her car....fur good!!!

Mom got out of the bed this morning and I quickly climbed in her spot and snuck in a few ZZzzzZZzzZzZZZZ's.....BOL BOL BOL!  I couldn't help butt smile from my epic-ness from stealing her warm spot!

Maggie is 15 years old and that like 87000 years old in dog years

So Zoe just waits patiently fur her to go back to her own bed so she can get her bed back!

Niles Has Been Naughty!

I Higgins, rarely, sometime more often than not, have a piddle in da house.....It's rare, butts it happens!  I am a Mantastic Hunk of a Man Dog, but not pawrfect!!!

Niles had been da total suck up since da day he moved in and has never had a piddle in da house....dat is one of da many reasons I growls at him a lots beclaws he be always trying to show off!!!  It gets on my nerves!

Well, Niles is in BIG trouble now beclaws he did a piddle.....in da house!!!

An intentional piddle!!!  No worries, I tolds on him....

Looks who is in trouble now!!  BOL!!!!!  Mom news right away it was him beclaws he was found like dis.....

He gots mad beclaws mom let da pussy cat in da house beclaws it was cold outside and he punished her....mom, not the pussy cat....butts maybe he did punish da pussy cat beclaws I thinks da pussy cat gotten a little piddle on her!!  BOL BOL BOL!  Now dats is funny!!!!

And I be's all proud beclaws I showed mom what he did.....I was all like da piddle pawtrol and I led her right to it!!!  It was where da pussy cat was sleeping!!!   

I sure do hope Santa Paws leaves Niles some yummy kibbles under da tree....just sayin'!

Snoopervising The Wrapping Of Presents

OMD, it's my favorite time of da year.....helping mom wrap da presents!!!

I is the bestest snoopervisor when it comes to dis task!  Mom says that Niles is da most behaved beclaws he likes surprises.....Butts I says it beclaws he is skeered of the paper sound....or he is just sucking up to Santa Paws trying to convince him dat he should be on da good list!

Here I is being a big helper and mom keeps shooing me away....

I just knows whatever is in da box is mine and I need to sniff it out to try to figures out what it is....

I guess my sniffer is broke beclaws I can't recognize dat smell at all!

Mom finally succeeded in running me off beclaws she said witt my pawesome snoopervising skills it takes her longer to wrap da presents.  I says she is crazy and without my help it wouldn't get done beclaws she gets easily distracted....butts whatevers.

So I decided to take a nap with Niles and try to be all nice to him since Santa Paws is coming....ya know, it's never too late to impress Santa Paws!!!

Mom has been decorating tha house fur Christmas and putting up tress that we are not allowed to leave pee-mail on...we don't get it....hoomans be so weird!

Then mom took a break from putting stuffs on the tress and decorated our bloggie!!

Now she is chasing around Niles trying to put a christmas sweater on him, but he is running faster than mom is and she is having trouble catching him!  BOL!

Torture At It's Best

After a long Thankfurness fur day weekend with lots of food and fun we all sats down last night and wait fur a long long long time fur a bite.....

We sat there fur a very very very long time waiting fur our turn at tha yummy yellow stuffs that has cheese and noodles in it.  The torture went on fur 87 minutes until tha oldest hooman brother finally gave each one bite!  Geeze, y'all the torture we endure is insane!!

The Cold Bad News....

At 1:87am Wednesday night my mom woke up in a panic beclaws she thought da house was on fire beclaws there was a loud bang and a burning smell in da house and since we sleep with our bedroom door shut she was fearfur of what she would find when she opened da door!  She and dad flew out of da bed and me and Niles were barking and on high alert....of course!!

Da good news is da house was not on fire, da bad news, the heater blew up! 

Da really really bad news is we will NOT have heat fur a couple of days.....did you hears me??  NO HEAT.....we will have NO HEAT fur a couple of days....I thinks we need to call in da National Guard Dogs! 

Dis is our heater man, da guy holding the heater thing.....The oldest hooman brother was having to hold me back beclaws I tried to dead him...I get vicious when someone takes my heat away!

Fur the next couple of days I fursee lots of under da covers time and me not leaving da bed, so ifs y'alls need me, dat is where I will be!

Mom left the house yesterday fur 87 hours and when she returned she pulled out some new PJ's for Niles....Some Elf PJ's....

OMD he was mad about it too!!!!  He stucked his tongue out at her and refused to move fur a whole 87 minutes!!!!

The she pulled out the candy corns and he decided to get up for that sweet snack!!!  Mom thinks he looks adorable from behind!!!!!!!

I am not sure why he is upset......I love footed PJ's!  Niles is weird!!!!!

It's Fall-ed

Looks, mom Fall-ished our bloggie!!!!!  

We have pumpkins....We have fall trees....We even have a turkey!!!!

I am as happee has as plump turkey the day after Thanksgiving...get it?  Plump turkey...the day after Thanksgiving??  BOL BOL BOL!!!!!

Staff Meeting

We gets up really early around our house....beclaws dad needs to go to his job so he can buy us lots of kibbles and squeakies!!!  So naturally we gets up really early with him to ensure he gets lots of kisses and lickes befure he leaves fur work so he does not furget about us during the day!!!!

After he leaves, we all run back to the bedroom fur Staff Meeting!  During this time we discuss what we will do fur the day, how we will protect the yard from tree rats and deers, when and where we will scatter our stuffies and when those impawtant  decision have been hammered out we will end Staff Meeting like so.....

Fur all y'all that don't know what a Sous-Chef is, here is a definition:

A Sous-Chef de Cuisine also Under-chef of the kitchen is a chef who is "the second in command in a kitchen; the Mantastic Dog ranking next after the head chef."

Dis is me, da Mantastic Sous-Chef....

I is the second in command to mom while she cooked fried chicken!!!

Dis is Niles.....we will call him the Hot-Mess Assistant to da Mantastic Sous-Chef Higgins....

See all that flour on Niles??  That is beclaws he is trying to trip mom so she will drop da chicken!  All he did was turn into a reverse Dalmatian!  BOL!!!  Get it, he's black with while spots...BOL BOL!!

Anyhoos.....

Thanks to my excellent Sous-Chefin' pawesome abilities the fried chicken turned out marvelous!!!  As for Niles, he needs lots and lots more training befure he can become a Manstatic Sous-Chef like me!!

OHHH and fur the chicken....it was paw lickin' - lip smackin' yummy!!!!

Niles And The Bunny Slippers

Mom got these really super cute Bunny Slippers a few weeks ago at the gettin' store....

Niles like to steal mom's Bunny Slippers when she is not wearing them....she always knows it's him that steal them beclaws he is also know as the Bathroom Garbage Bandit!  

He has not learned yet to cover the evidences of crimes!!!!  

Here is a picture of the loots the he stole out of the garbage can and the pawrents bedroom....

Thens when mom is wearing her Bunny Slippers he attacks them and wont let go!!!!!  She walks around the house pulling her leg and Niles with her!!!

I sure feel bad fur mom's Bunny Slippers....they have Niles toofer marks all over them!

We Fired Mom.....

But we hired her back, beclaws well...

look how cute she is when she begs fur furgiveness on her lousy dog-a-tary skills!!!  Plus, we are all paws when it comes to typing on her fancy dancy 'puter!  

So let me quickly fill you in on what has happened the six weeks or so whiles we's was gone.....

Fur the love all of all Milkbones, I was neglected while mom read four books in a row!  Yep....FOUR WHOLE BOOKS on her stupid iPad thingie.....unacceptable!

Maggie hurt her back and was in jail fur two weeks....that went well....NOT!  Butts she is all betters now!!!

Niles still take his chores very seriously and insists on pre-rinsing the dishes every day!  AND he is still a big...errr I mean, little brat!

Mom retired her Jeep to dad and gots us a new Higgins-Mobile, butts she has yet allowed me to test ride in it beclaws she said it's nice to drive a Higgins-Hair-Free ride!  I am getting ready to put my paw down on that because I need a Dairy Queen fix ASAP!
