Monday Mischief

My mom has been sicker than a cat!!

I hate when people say sick as a dog…I just hate it, so today I decided to change the phrase to cat.  Has a much better ring to it!!  BOL!

Anyhoos, in honor of my mom, that is moving no quicker than the pace of a snail on steroids, I have decided to completely stay free from all mischief until she is well again!!

I mean there was this piddle on the floor that she happened upon in the middle of the night…in my defense, I am sure it was Maggie.

Oh, and there was this instant when she happened upon another piddle on some dirty clothes that were lying in a heap on her bathroom floor….but again, unless I am directly caught in the act, I am sure it was Maggie.

In Maggie’s defense, I know your sick mom, but I am sure she asked to go out…you were just to sick to realize it!  She’s old mom…Maggie just can’t hold her bladder like she did in her younger years!

Ya, know, there was another instant with the dog food.  My mom would not feed me until I ate all the brown pieces out of my bowl.  So I took my front paws and started kicking all of them out of my bowl until there were not one, single-dingle, little piece in there!!  BOL!!!   Bandit was eating each piece that I kicked out, which made my plan work better than I could have ever expected!!!!!!

When the youngest human son ran to tattle on me and tell mom everything I was doing, by the time she arrived, this is what she saw…

I wish this were a video, because I turned on the complete shakes and was looking as if I were going to die any minute of starvation!!!!  BOL!!!!

So mom, I plan to continue my mischief free streak until you are 100% better!

You’re Welcome!!

  2. Oh poor Higgins! It's such a rough life you lead. I don't know how you survive sometimes. I know your food should be all green pieces, but you'd better eat up the brown ones and keep up your strength to look after your Momma while she's sick! Once she's better....all bets are off! BOL!

  13. Thanks for teaching me this trick Higgens! Since I don't have another puppy to eat my leftovers, maybe I will just shove them under the freezer! That will work right?
