Y’all had to think that I ran away from home….can you believe the last time I blogged was Friday? OMD, It’s not my fault, It’s my moms fault!!
Our weekend was quite the flurry of boring activities with mom and dad working on the upstairs with painting and peeling wallpaper. The only room that got completely done was the youngest sons room.
Here is the color that it began as….a very deep brown.
Here is me giving mom the best stink eye ever cause this was not what I was wanting to do. I was still mad cause I was wanting to go hiking. Grrrr.
Don’t worry to much, me, Bandit and Maggie stayed in moms way the entire time…Maggie even got kicked out of the room because she kept brushing up against the wall and getting paint all over her furs!! BOL!!!
Here is the finished color…It’s a light grey that my mom is in love with!
Once the furniture got moved back into the room, we all were worn out from working so hard, so the three of us took naps while mom hung stuff on the walls.
Here are some of the finishing photos of his walls. The youngest son collect car tags and car things so my mom was hanging them on the wall. There are a few things left to hang, but for the most part it is done. Whew!! I won’t even begin to show you the other two rooms….they are still a nightmare!! BOL! At this rate, I may never get to go hiking again!
Okay now for the fun stuff!!!!
The winner of the Ginger Bear Snacks….
In this bowl is full of all my furiends names….
I snoopervised the youngest son drawing fur a winner….
The winner is Frankie & Ernie!!! Wooohoooo!!!
Mom said to email us your address at
jpdbj (at) dtccom (dot) net
and we will rush to the post office to mail out your snacks!! I can’t wait to see if you love them as much as I do!!!
I thought we were celebrating the holiday weekend by doing something fun!! Me and the family were getting ready to go to a state park to do some very fun hiking and exploring and leaving lots of pee-mail. Then, at the last minute, one of them had the not so brilliant idea of staying home and painting the entire upstairs.
OMD, have they lost their minds???
This is me, not happy. I think I will sleep through the weekend.
The only way I know how to cope, is to do something fun for all my furiends who will be doing something super cool with theirs parents for the weekend that might have a boring weekend like myself.
Let me explain….
I love Petco and they have this yummy snack bar where my super yummy Ginger Bears live! This week I was running dangerously low, so we had to rush out to get some more!
First I tried to get this big yummy bone….
Mom said no. Grrrr.
What about this one ma??
Can I get a ball??
I love this stuffie…can I get this one?? Finally, she said yes!!
Then we made it to the snack bar! Mom got two bags this time….and guess what…one might be for you!!
We finally got to check out…
I was go glad too, cause I had some pee-mail to read and leave! BOL!!
So here’s your chance to try some of my yummy, super, tummy pleasing Ginger Bears!!
Leave me a message on what you get to do this fun weekend, paws crossed it’s not painting the entire upstairs, but hiking.
We will draw for a name sometime after the weekend is over. My mom said even if you live a long ways away, like another country, you can still enter!
My Mom and Dad are being such kill joys for weekend fun so I hope your weekend will be lots of fun!!
Maggie my sister, which you saw yesterday…
Was in the process of getting brushed and ready for a bath. She hates getting a bath more than I do or maybe she hates getting brushed…cause when she was done…
There was a whole other Pomeranian sitting on the table!! That’s scary…BOL!!
Since Maggie is so little, a whole three pounds, she gets her baths in the kitchen sink.
Before she gets wet…
After she gets wet! BOL!! There is nothing left of her!!
I think she is at least two pounds of fur!!
After her suds, rinse and dry cycle…
I retreat to the bed for a nap cause it exhausting making fun watching her getting a bath! Plus, she would never be able to get up on the bed to beat me up for laughing so hard!! BOL!!!
Maggie's baths days are always an adventure!
Once upon a time, about 8 weeks ago, my mom used to drink coffee. When she was down to the last sip, I got to finish it off!!
Then she decided to kick coffee and all other drinks to the curb and as she called it, she quit cold turkey. She only drinks water now. Water is not as fun as coffee.
The problem….I was forced to do this cold turkey thing as well. Not a happy Chihuahua.
I love coffee.
Then a miracle happened…
She had a craving for coffee. Goodie, if she has coffee then I have coffee. She reverted back to our old habit and when she was down to the sip, I got to finish it off! The last sip wasn’t good enough, I grabbed the cup and took off!!!
GRRRRR, get away from me Maggie, it’s mine, alllllll mine!!
Yummmmy! I licked the cup clean as a whistle!
My mom was full of energy and bugged eyed for the rest of the day and I was content and happy. She told me not to get used to it, that we were now back to water only.
Yep, you guessed it, mom takes the prize for this Monday Mischief!
Fred, the front porch evil dweller, thinks that he owns the front porch…well he is wrong.
I own the front porch and everything that goes with it, on it and just outside the front porch. When I come outside for patrol, the first thing that gets chased off, well, is Fred!
Then I stand guard, high on my coffee table throne and watch and wait for anything evil that may come around….like Fred.
Maggie my sister, sits under the table and scares away evil things….like Fred.
Then every once in awhile I will come off the coffee table throne and growl if Fred tries to climb the stairs to get back into my domain!
The only flaw with my front porch domain is I have to go inside the air-conditioning house to patrol. That leaves Fred, the evil front porch dweller, the small window to sneak back up and try to own the front porch again. It’s a daily job keeping the riff raft in check!!
